I am a UKCP registered Systemic and Family Psychotherapist, and I offer
counselling and psychotherapy for individuals, couples and
families. I also provide training for professionals in
counselling and motivational interviewing.
I abide by the code of ethics of the
British Association of Counselling and
Psychotherapy and the United
Kingdom Council of Psychotherapists.
Approach
I draw on systemic ideas and brief
therapy approaches. These focus not only on the individual but also the context
in which they live. In my work I aim to help clients to access and develop their
own internal resources and solutions to problems they may have been
experiencing. I have worked in a wide range of settings including, the
addictions field, employee assistance programmes, a student counselling service,
child and adolescent mental health, adult mental health as well as in private
practice.
