Confidentiality

Our work together will be entirely confidential. Exceptional circumstances may arise which make it necessary to break the general agreement of confidentiality. This may occur where there is deemed to be serious risk of harm to an individual client or by the individual towards others. Where at all possible such breaking of confidentiality will be discussed with you first.

I keep brief details and records of our meetings for my information and as required by the professional bodies, the UKCP and BACP. These are kept under lock and key and destroyed within a period of time after our meetings are finished. These may be seen by you at any time should you so wish.
