Jeff Faris is a Consultant Psychotherapist and has been in practice for over 25 years. His qualifications are BA Psychology, BA (Hons) Psychology, MA Clinical Psychology. He qualified in Clinical Psychology in 1983 and has been a UK Registered Psychotherapist since the inauguration of the UK Council for Psychotherapy register in 1993.

Apart from his private practice as a psychotherapist he is a Senior Lecturer in Psychotherapy at The Family Institute in the University of Glamorgan. His duties include specialist teaching in systemic family therapy, couples therapy and systemic psychotherapy with individual children and adults. He was the Award Leader for the MSc in Systemic Psychotherapy for over 15 years and is currently Award Leader for the PG Diploma in Family Therapy. He is Clinical Consultant to the Institute’s clinical practice.
